About

I've been where you are.

Not metaphorically. I know what it feels like to be the one everyone leans on — and to quietly wonder when it became impossible to find yourself in the mirror.

The story

For years, I led well. By every external measure, I was doing it right — the results, the team, the reputation. What I didn't have language for was the slow erosion happening underneath. The version of me that used to feel curious, grounded, and genuinely alive in the work had been quietly replaced by a version that was just... managing.

It didn't happen in a crisis. It happened in the accumulation of small decisions to put the role first. To be what was needed. To keep the machine running. Until one day I realised I couldn't remember the last time I'd made a decision that felt like mine.

That's when I started doing the work — not performance coaching, not skills development, but the slower, more honest work of understanding who I actually was underneath the role. What I valued. What I'd been suppressing. What leading from that place could actually feel like.

What came out the other side wasn't a better version of the leader I'd been. It was a more honest one. And that changed everything — how I made decisions, how I held my team, how I showed up in the hard moments.

The philosophy

Leadership is an identity question before it's a skills question.

Most leadership development focuses on what you do. How you communicate, how you delegate, how you manage conflict. These things matter. But they sit on top of something more fundamental: who you are, and whether the way you're leading is actually aligned with that.

When it isn't — when the role has drifted away from the person — no amount of skills work fixes it. You can get better at the performance while the person underneath gets quieter and quieter.

My work starts at that deeper level. Not to dismantle what you've built, but to reconnect you to the foundation of it. To help you lead in a way that's sustainable, honest, and genuinely yours.
